[suse] V.10 64bit

io ho il kernel 2.6.13-15 , ho letto da qualche parte che col kerne 2.6.14 forse si risolve in problema.

sono stato su kernel .org e ho visto che ultimo kernek stabile e' il 2.6.14.3

sapete dirmi come fare aggiornamento?

Sicuramente non risolvi solo con l'aggiornamento, leggi la mia risposta nell'altro thread e fai la stessa cosa, solo che invece di usare i sorgenti presi da kernel.org devi ricompilare quelli che ti installa il pacchetto rpm di SuSE

intanto posto il mio boot dopo avere avviato suse da batteria e poi col cavo , forse puo essere di aiuto per risolvere il problema in maniera un po piu semplice

Io alla fine non ho risolto nulla con suse ma ho provato a scaricarmi Slamd64 che sarebbe poi slackware a 64bit... E' molto carino e ha il kde 3.4

Ho scaricato la distro da 4 cd e mi sono fatto l'installazione totale... a parte il wireless mi va benone a batteria.

Mi ha aiutato Ienaplissken e adesso va bene.

Se non ci dovessi riuscire con suse te lo consiglio... per quel che vale la mia parola... sai che sono un analfabeta di linux...

magari stavo pensando che basterebbe dare i 2 comandi che ho dovuto dare io a slamd64 per far andare la batteria anche a suse.... :) (cavolata vero?)

Beh ti saluto se dovessi cavare qualcosa dal buco, un ragno o non so... con suse fammi sapere :P

E questo non va bene, ci credo che non funziona niente! oddio, magari su SuSE è normale ma io non credo proprio.

Ricompila il kernel, purtroppo però non posso fare altro che consigliarti delle guide, perchè il kernel di SuSE è leggermente diverso da quello di Slackware, perchè quello di Slack è "puro" di kernel.org, mentre suse ci fa delle modifiche sue..

PS Prima però non ti fidare ciecamente di me e prova a smanettare con la configurazione della batteria nel centro di controllo :)
