. A change in the default preferences caused SMIRC to not display a popup for the user to change their nick.

. Channel Modes were not handled correctly in many cases.

. Sending new channel modes from the tab menu didn't send correct modes in most cases.

. Sorting nicks within a channel didn't sort correctly.

"a b OR c d" (or "a AND b OR c AND d" respectively) does no longer evaluate to "(a AND OR (c AND d)" but to "a AND (b OR c) AND d" (Google-style)

You still can use paranthesis to force the precedence of evaluation to suite your needs.

Novità principali:

• Possibilità di scaricare file di grandezza massima 256GB invece che 4GB (ovviamente sia i nuovi link ed2k sia file di lunghezza maggiorata sono incompatibili con le vecchie versioni di eMule. Anche le collezioni di file contenenti file più grandi di 4GB saranno utilizzabili solo dalla nuova versione).
  
• Aggiunta la possibilità di cercare nelle varie finestre di emule (trasferimenti, File condivisi, Ricerca) con il comando "Find" presente sul tasto destro del mouse (oppure con scorciatoria Ctrl+F=nuova ricerca, F3=Cerca il successivo, Shift+F3=Cerca il precedente). Comodo per chi ha molti file in lista e non riesce più a trovarne uno
  
• Aggiunte parole chiave speciali alle possibilità di ricerca per avere risultati più rilevanti (vedi search expressions in inglese). Il carattere "-" viene adesso interpretato come un NOT se anteposto ad una parola come per esempio "file -avi" è uguale a "file NOT avi"; in "cool-file" viene invece interpretato come carattere normale.

prima di installare la nuova versione, disinstallo la precedente?

se si, disinstallando la vecchia versione non perdo tutti i settaggi?

per aggiornare basta estrarre i "binari" dentro la cartella eMule

Io solitamente faccio così...

-scarico i binari e li metto in una cartella

-lancio emule.exe e lo installo, quindi chiudo

-poi vado nella cartella config del vecchio emule (in questo caso 0.46c) e mi copio

client.met

preference.dat

criptkey.dat

e li vado a mettere nella cartella config del nuovo emule (in questo caso 0.47a) (clicco si quando chiede di sovrascrivere).

Se hai file in download col vecchio mulo, o sposti o copi la cartella "temp",dipende da quanto è grande.

Io la lascio dov'è e seleziono il percorso da opzioni ->cartelle, tengo un po' il vecchio emule (nel caso dovessero sorgere problemi col nuovo, l'importante è usarli separatamente) e quando vedo che la nuova versione funge bene sposto la cartella temp e cancello quello che non mi serve.
