[ubuntu 7.04] Aggiornare Il Gcc

ciao...

voglio aggiornare il gcc che ho su ubuntu 7.04 dalla mia versione 4.1.2 alla ultima versione 4.2.3 perche' mi serve openmp....

allora ho fatto sudo apt-get upgrade gcc...

ma dice che ho l'ultima versione installata...

come posso fare?

non vorrei fare l'installazione manuale perche' so che e' abbastanza rompiscatole :giu:

quando fai l' apt-cache search gcc cosa ti dice? Non è che la versione disponibile via apt-get sia fino ad ora ancora la 4.1.2? Altrimenti fai un update a TUTTO il sistema (update + upgrade) e vedi cosa ti dice..

e ho fatto come hai detto te l'upgrade e l'update ma non mi ha aggiornato nulla cioe' sono gia' aggiornato al 100%...allora come posso fare?

vorrei proprio evitare l'installazione a mano...

Io non l'ho mai aggiornata volontariamente ed ho la 4.1.3

Ma per caso non ti è uscito il popup per aggiornare la tua versione di ubuntu da 7.04 a 7.10? Perchè in teoria se aggiorni tutto il sistema dovresti avere il gcc del quale hai bisogno. Prova a fare l'aggiornamento totale del sistema, oltretutto è anche un modo per avere più utility ottimizzate

@Steppa1: ovvio che hai l'ultimo GCC, hai anche l'ultima (o perlomeno aggiornata) versione dell'os. Se hai letto lui ha la 7.04.

per ora non ho tempo e voglia di passare alla 7.10....il link che mi hai dato serve solo per spiegare come aggiornare ubuntu dal 7.04 al 7.10

:up1: vero ma la prima parte in teoria ti fa fare l'aggiornamento di tutti i pacchetti disponibili e se non c'è li il gcc non credo che sia da altre parti...

Mi spiace ma per il momento non mi viene molto altro in mente, magri viene a qualcun'altro spiacente di non poterti essere stato di aiuto..
