Ciao a tutti..rieccomi con un nuovo problema!! per fortuna che ci siete vo che li risolvete in un botto!!!

eccolo qua: ho comprato oggi una chiavetta da 8 Gb della trekston....la infilo dentro e funziona...lo rifaccio sta sera dopo un nuovo avvio e ubuntu non la vede neanche di strisco!! ho dato un' occhi sul web per vedere se qualcun'altro ha avuto il mio stesso problema ed ho trovato solo alcune info..tipo il comando dmesg e konsole mi da totto sto popò di roba!!...spero vi possa servire perchè io non ci capisco niente!!!

Innanzi tutto hai provato su diverse porte USB ?

Sono tutte USB 2.0?

L'hai smontato regolarmente?

Attenzione :

Non so bene cosa faccia questo comando ( ne ho una vaga idea ) ma a me ha risolto tempo fa l'automount di un HD esterno a velocità inferiore (1.1) e su una distro 7.10.

Siccome il tuo problema sembrerebbe lo stesso come estrema soluzione lo proverei a :

sudo modprobe -r ehci_hcd

sudo modprobe -r ohci_hcd

ciao..ho provato su tutte usb e la chiavetta è stata smontata correttamente. Ho eseguito i 2 comandi che mi hai dato ed il risultato è stato nullo:

root@marco-desktop:~# sudo modprobe -r echi_hcd

FATAL: Module echi_hcd not found.

root@marco-desktop:~# sudo modprobe -r ochi_hcd

FATAL: Module ochi_hcd not found.

.....altre idee!!?? grazie per il momento!!

ciao..questo problema con le chiavette me lo dava anche prima con ubuntu 7.10 e seguendo il comando trovato...ecco cosa succede:

root@marco-desktop:~# sudo gedit / etc / fstab

cannot open display:

Eseguire "gedit --help" per vedere un elenco completo delle opzioni a riga di comando.

root@marco-desktop:~# sudo gedit

Quindi che si fa?? preciso che del funzionamento di ubuntu non ne capisco molto...come si può notare!! quindi vi prego darmi le istruzioni in modo dettagliato....GRAZIE MILLE

Non ho capito gli spazi al comando gedit ? .....

sudo gedit /etc/fstab

Cmq ammesso che non ho ancora Hardy presumo tu abbia gia visto Sistema >Preferenze>Unità e supporti removibili..... se c'è ancora?

poi dovresti postarmi il risultato facendo questa cosa su terminale:

sudo dmesg -c

dmesg

( inquesto caso NON dovresti avere risposta)

inserisci la penna USB e poi

dmesg

( posta il risultato)

mount

( posta il risultato)

Speriamo di venirene a capo ciao
