Driver Cleaner Professional Edition è l'ultima versione di Driver Cleaner, anch'essa distribuita gratuitamente da parte degli sviluppatori. Il funzionamento della nuova release ricalca quasi completamente quello della versione "classica" fatta eccezione per l'utilissima ed interessantissima funzione "Live Update".
Driver Cleaner PE, infatti, può essere aggiornato online (anzi, è consigliabile farlo periodicamente): il programma ricerca sul sito web degli autori, la disponibilità di nuove informazioni circa la disinstallazione automatica di nuove schede o di versioni di driver più recenti.
Anche in questo caso valgono i consigli illustrati in precedenza: dopo aver provveduto alla disinstallazione di un driver da Pannello di controllo, è necessario riavviare il sistema in modalità provvisoria (premere il tasto F8 al boot) quindi scegliere quale driver si desidera disinstallare.

Driver Cleaner Professional Edition is an improved and better version of Driver Cleaner.
Driver Cleaner Professional Editon is a program which helps you to remove parts of drivers that are left after uninstalling the old drivers. The program is for ATI, nVidia, Creative, Realtek, SIS, 3Dfx, S3 and more drivers. First you need to uninstall the drivers from the control panel, then reboot. After rebooting, run the program. If you really want a good description of what steps you should take, then you really need to read the readme file included in the zip file and installation as it contains a detailed step by step description. The program also fully supports windows themes and other kind of themes.
When you click on the dropdown box, then you can choose between the cleaning files.
Cab Cleaner is a program that will clean the cab files. After installing from a service pack windows will overwrite driver files with older files from the service pack cab's. Cab Cleaner will remove the ATI and nVidia files from the cab.
When you click on the dropdown box, then you can choose between the different cab files. Once you selected your option you can press clean and the cleaning starts.
Windows Platforms supported:
95, 98, 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, XP64
Not tested, but should work:
2003, .NET, Longhorn, Vista
